Strategist.

During the 2020 election cycle, Pranjal served as Director of Communications at Alysa for Sunnyvale and a consultant for Phenomenal LLC. For Phenomenal, Pranjal curated a list of South Asian influencers to mobilize support for Kamala Harris, putting GenZ South Asians on the map and demonstrating the political power South Asian-Americans hold. She also consults for independent clients and organizations such as Instagram and the Clinton Foundation to build organizational growth and media related strategy.

Activist.

Pranjal first started organizing around bullying prevention when she was 12 years old, creating curriculum and serving as a peer educator. Since then, she has served as a Founding Member and Associate Director of Gen Z Girl Gang, a gen-z women led organization redefining sisterhood and founded Global Girlhood. Global Girlhood is revolutionizing representation for women and gender diverse people in education, media, and leadership by using a journalism structure, inspiring storytelling, and enabling lasting connections. The 10,000 member strong community spans the world, spearheading global citizenship from a youth perspective.

At Global Girlhood, we believe in the power of stories to learn with and from each other. We use social media to amplify womxn’s stories of empowerment from all over the world to connect womxn like never before. Our community of Journalists gather stories of womxn from their own communities and our Connectivity Contributors react to those stories. We are trying to show young girls that there are womxn out there who look like them, have similar backgrounds as them, and are powerful in their own ways.
